Founder and chairperson of Jagjan Private Limited, Mr. M.B.S. Agarwal was born on 26 August 1957 at pink city of India, Jaipur. He had his schooling in one of the best schools of the country, Delhi Public School, Mathura Road, New Delhi ( National capital of India.) and Kendriya Vidyalaya, Mumbai ( business capital of India) and Jaipur.
He did his Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering with distinction from Sardar Vallabhbhai Regional College of Engineering & Technology, Surat in 1979.
His first encounter with ground realities was when he joined one of the leaders in country in process control equipment for a seven years stint where he honed his skills and knowledge. He had opportunity to visit best manufacturing facilities in Europe ( Germany, etc. ) and was one of the few to work with English, German and Japanese technologies.
To keep himself abreast Mr. Agarwal is an active member of several professional bodies in India and abroad. He is presently associated with:

He is a Professional Engineer (PE) & a Chartered Engineer too!
He is on temperature measurement committee of ASTM that formulates standards for temperature measuring instruments. He is also actively associated with philanthropic/ non-profit organizations in Rajasthan and Ajmer.
At present he is :-
Executive member - Employers’ Association of Rajasthan, Jaipur.
Executive Member - Ajmer Zila Laghu Udyog Sangh (President : 2004-06).
Active Member - Ajmer Industrial Estate Association (Vice-President 2003).
Mr. Agarwal has been nominated on several national & regional bodies dealing with engineering as well as business (Central Excise, etc.)
Mr. Agarwal takes keen interest in continuing education. Learning has not stopped for him. Given the opportunity he is a keen participant at various technical & managerial seminars & workshops.
Mr. Agarwal believes in sharing too. He is a preferred speaker at engineering colleges, polytechnics & management faculties.
Jagjan strives to remain on top under his captaincy.
